# Customize Checkout Text

The text customization section allows editing the content of the donation widget and the messaging of the thank you page—the symbol **$X.XX** represents the donation amount within the text (this can be removed). The Reset link allows the user to restore the content to its original text.

The text defaults change depending on how the following settings are configured:

* Who Makes the Donation
* RoundUp - Fixed - Percentage
* They’ve been laid out if one charity or multiple charities are selected.

The text changes are contextual, so we recommend making all the preceding settings first and then editing the default text if needed.
